CONSENT STATEMENT

Rockwell Land Corporation and its subsidiaries (Rockwell, for brevity), value the confidentiality of personal data you entrust to commit to protect your personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA), its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), other issuances of National Privacy Commission (NPC) and other relevant laws of the Philippines. Personal data refers to all types of personal information, sensitive personal information and privileged information. Personal information refers to “any information, whether or not recorded in a material form from which the identity of an individual is apparent or can reasonably and directly be ascertained by the entity holding the information, or, when put together with other information, would directly and certainly identify an individual”. This Privacy Policy tells you how we process (how we collect, use, share, and retain) and protect your personal data. It also tells you what steps you can take if you want us to change how we use your personal data, or if you want us to stop using your personal data.

Such information may vary depending on the position applied for. Necessarily, a copy of your resume/curriculum vitae is required.

Rockwell’s Privacy Policy regarding children

Rockwell is very sensitive to privacy issues and it is especially careful in any communication involving children. Rockwell will not collect personal data from children directly, without the parent's consent.

Personal data collected from children is used solely by Rockwell or other entities that provide technical, fulfillment or other services to Rockwell. For example, such entities may provide services, such as, improving our websites, and fulfilling requests or administering promotions. This personal data is not sold.

Meanwhile, we urge parents to regularly monitor and supervise their children's on-line activities.

How we protect your data

We take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data we collect, use or disclose are accurate, complete, and up-to-date. We strictly enforce our Privacy Policy within Rockwell and we have implemented technological, organizational and physical security measures to protect your information we hold from loss, misuse, modification, unauthorized or accidental access or disclosure, alteration or destruction. The following safeguards are in effect:

We keep and protect your personal data using secured servers behind a firewall, deploying encryption on computing devices and physical security controls.
We restrict access to your personal data only to qualified and authorized personnel who hold your personal data with strict confidentiality.
Any personal data that you provide is initially processed and stored by Rockwell. Using a secured connection only authorized Rockwell personnel can access and download your personal data from the Rockwell Careers Portal.

Where and how long we keep your data

Any personal data will be kept in our facilities located in the Philippines for a period of 2 years from sign up, unless you request your personal data to be deleted in our systems, databases and hardcopies immediately. Once deleted, your personal data will no longer be searchable or included in anonymous searches and will be completely removed from all the storage location.

Changes in our Privacy Policy

Rockwell may, from time to time, change its Privacy Policy for its Rockwell Careers Portal. Such event, will be posted in http://careers.e-rockwell.com, so it is highly recommended that you check our website periodically for the most up-to-date version of Rockwell’s Privacy Policy. Rest assured, however, that any changes will not be retroactively applied and will not alter how we handle previously collected personal data without obtaining your consent, unless required by law.

All requests for correction, erasure of your personal data as it appears in our records are always subject to any exceptions under applicable and relevant laws and/or the DPA, its IRR and other issuances of NPC.
